• Potassium-Rich Foods & Salt Substitutes ARBs reduce renal potassium excretion. Excessive intake of potassium supplements or salt substitutes increases hyperkalemia risk.
• Grapefruit & Grapefruit Juice Inhibits intestinal CYP3A4 metabolism of dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers (Amlodipine, Nifedipine, Felodipine), triggering excessive vasodilation, flushing, headache, and peripheral edema.
